    Highlights:
  • PSI USERS GROUP MEETING

Attached is the agenda for the upcoming users meeting. Don't forget to make your hotel reservations by this Friday, May 26th. The phone number for the Embassy Suites in Lombard, IL is 630-969-7500. Again, you need to mention PSI when you make the reservation to get the lowered rate.

Hein Electric Supply of Milwaukee recently ordered an LX5220 Clear/Path. Hein also announced the opening of their eighth location. The new place is in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin.

    More enhancements recently completed:
  • In the various OE30 item lookups (partial item nbr search, favorites, etc.) you can now order multiple line items. Formerly, you could only order one of the potentially eight items that come up on the screen. Now, for example, if the customer needed multiple colors of the same basic item, you could order all of these on the same page.
  • Product structure or bill of materials records are now marked as to whether they are kits, assemblies or complementary item lists. Complementary lists are not automatically exploded at order entry time. Instead, on the OE30 screen, the user is prompted to request the list of complementary items. A screen is returned that is similar to the partial item number/favorites lists, and the user can then order as many of the complementary items as necessary.
  • The Cut Wire enhancement has been completed. This consists of:
    • A new screen, IA41, for recording cuts
    • A new inquiry, II95, for displaying the various sized pieces. You can also branch directly to this inquiry screen from the II10, 20 and 50 inquiries.
    • In OE30 line item entry, if an item has any cut pieces, a message is displayed prompting the user to request a list of the cut pieces.
